Martin A. Davidson, Principal
Mr. Davidson brings a unique background to Winwood Properties and MD Realty Services. He is involved in marketing and leasing operations as well as communicating with owners of properties under management and prospective management. He is responsible for the day to day operations of the business including: managing maintenance staff, contractors, accounting and procurement as well as interacting with residents, vendors, suppliers and financial institutions.
Prior to forming Winwood Properties and MD Realty Services Mr. Davidson founded and operated Mica Homes, Inc., a residential home building company. He built for sale homes in Geauga County, Ohio, which involved site selection, project finance, land acquisition, design, general contracting and sales.
Prior to founding Mica Homes, Mr. Davidson worked with a regional shopping center developer, Paran Management Company, providing marketing and leasing for 12 retail shopping centers with over 1.5 million sq. ft. of leasable space. During his tenure at Paran Management he successfully leased in excess of 60,000 sq. ft. with over 25 tenants with a gross value of over $2.75MM within a 12–month period. Initiated and maintained relationships with economic development offices, national/regional tenant representatives and commercial brokerage community.
Mr. Davidson served as Vice President and General Manager for E.B. Brown Opticians, a 42–store optical chain with annual sales exceeding $15 million. As vice president, Mr. Davidson managed and supervised more than 200 sales associates, regional managers, store managers, human resources, manufacturing and administrative personnel. Additionally, he identified new store locations and executed the planning, design, construction and merchandising of over 30 new and existing stores.
Since forming Winwood Properties and MD Realty Services, Mr. Davidson has led the physical transformation of the properties under management. Under his leadership, over $5,000,000 in capital improvements were undertaken resulting in increased occupancy and value of the properties.
Alicia Focht
Real estate development and fine tuning relationships has been a standard set in Alicia from the start as a young child. Growing up along Lake Erie's Shores in Port Clinton, OH, third generation of real estate developers and general contractors, her attention to property detail, value and occupancy is a natural quality Alicia brings to the team of Winwood Properties.
Alicia has over 5 years in leasing and management work experience. As a graduate of Ohio Dominican University with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, two years with The Huntsville Botanical Garden as Facility Rental Coordinator executing large private events, and as a licensed Ohio Realtor, Alicia's knowledge, abilities and credentials have been an asset to the management and leasing of apartment communities, commercial properties and residential properties. Alicia is also involved in marketing, advertising, market analysis, client relations, sustainability and creativity.
Alicia is a key component in the daily affairs of the office, administrative and effectively communicating with clients, vendors and owners. From the moment of first approach to the handshake at departure, Alicia is your source for finding a home for your life or your business.
Jeff Mackey
Winwood Properties' most important value is the maintenance and quality of life we provide for our residents and tenants. Jeff is the life support of maintaining our properties and delivers the excellence that our residents expect.
Since early in Jeff's career he has been essential to the vitality and driving force that has created success throughout his endeavors. Jeff entered the United States Air Force in 1983, served as Master Sergeant, is a Desert Storm Veteran and was honorably discharged in 1995. From there he ran the labor force for Kenyon Construction performing build outs for national retailers such as Linens–N–Things, Toys–R–Us, Wal–Mart and Harbor Freight Tools. He continued to perform his carpentry and mechanical skills through operating his own business, Mackey Remodeling. From there, Jeff took his wife and daughter to Hawaii, where they managed a group home for troubled teenage girls called Catholic Charities Hawaii.
Jeff joined the Winwood Properties team in March of 2007 and oversees maintenance and operations. His day to day 1st priority is to make sure that all resident service requests are fulfilled whether it is a leaky faucet or re–caulking a tub. He meticulously maintains each building daily, keeping a safe environment in hallways, laundry and all common areas along with all grounds keeping. Jeff's performances for the team also include plumbing, electrical, woodworking, painting, roofing, drywall repairs, flooring installation and changing locks. He is also part of the team that is available 24/7 for emergency maintenance calls. Jeff's professionalism to all calls of duty is a standard set and maintained through Winwood Properties.
